I would treat this the same way you do when dealing with stolen beats. Trying to pass off a construction kit’s demo beat as your own work, even if you used sounds from one of the kits, is misleading.

There’s a difference between using tools and resources to create something yourself and claiming someone else’s finished work as your own.

It’s about transparency, originality, and integrity. Ultimately, trying to take credit for work you didn’t actually create says a lot about your character and shows a level of dishonesty that shouldn’t be accepted. 💯🫡👍

It's a slap in the face to producers that really work hard on their craft going up against someone that just took a whole construction kit, didn't change anything and said "it's mines now" and battling the beat against a producer that plays all their music, not cool "in my opinion" that's the same as writing a prompt to A.I. and battling the A.I. beat on here

@jokeyent I have logs. Nobody removed beats from their page without me knowing. I can see everything, including when people read threads and come back an hour later to comment. Everything is tracked so false narrative are not created to justify anything but the truth!!

I haven't banned anyone yet. What I'm interested in seeing is how the community reacts when an unknown producer violates the rules versus when a well-known producer does the exact same thing. Do we hold everyone to the same standard?

TM battled several beats from sample packs. So here's my question: What's the difference between using AI to create a beat that you didn't produce yourself and taking a beat from a sample pack, without chopping, rearranging, or reproducing anything, and uploading it virtually identical as your own production?

I'm genuinely interested in hearing how the community sees the difference.

Just so you all know, no one has been banned from ROCBATTLE yet. When we exposed the two prompt producers, they both gracefully left the platform on their own. This is just another situation where someone exposed a producer for using full sound packs and loops in their battles. And to be truthful, I think battling a beat made with Suno would be LESS of a violation than battling a beat straight from a sample pack. At least with AI, you have to give it instructions, describe what you want, and it creates something based on an idea you provided.

But taking preconstructed loops and kits, barely changing anything, and entering them into a beat battle as your own production? That's beyond lazy, and in my opinion, it's fraudulent.

We're here to battle producers and their production skills, not see who can find the best pre-made beat in a sample pack.Just my opinion. 💯

@jokeyent No, she did not. Beats don't have to appear on your public profile. When you upload a beat, you have the option to choose whether or not you want it displayed on your page.

The logs clearly show that she never had those beats displayed on her public profile. Furthermore, before any of this happened, when I first noticed her battling, I personally visited her public profile, and there were no beats displayed then either.

And this is exactly why I'm here, to make sure false narratives aren't being created or spread. I have the facts and the logs to back up everything I say. I'm not speaking from assumptions or speculation. I'm speaking from what I can actually verify. 💯

@Rockwilder I'm not against using kits at all it's the using the demo beats that come with it for your battle or just drag and dropping the whole kit and not changing or adding anything of your own and then trying to pass it off as yours beat tag and all

@Rockwilder I don't use none of that sht, I admit the only new tech I use is A.I. Stem separation for sampling, I want to know now is that a violation? back then you had to wait for a drum break on a James Brown record, now you can get the whole drum, music, bass, etc. tracks separated, is that a violation if you're still chopping up the samples like you normally would but just with track separation using A.I.??
