Are We Bringing Back Beat Crews?

Vigilante Stylez Producer 1 week ago · edited · 53 views

I KNOW those were VERY controversial during the early Rocbattle days. But at the same time, the community that generated was next level. Producers were sharing everything with each other to ensure the crew would always win crew battles, and their individual battles. Dudes sharing drum kits, DAWs, VSTs, production secrets, networking, making crew mixtapes, and albums etc. Shit was fun not gonna lie. But it pissed off a lot of people at the same time lol.

Lol do you remember the elite crew?

They were snobs. I had to join Delaware connections crew. But it went into liquidatiion shortly after I joined.

The crew tourneys were immense!

Beat crews wound up becoming a problem ...the first beat crews was team official and outsiders we started it because we was mad at roc not putting us in beat bully click lol so we wanted to show we was just as nice as beat bully producers...everyone agreed and started starting their own crews to show their worth...but it wound up turning into haters and buddy voting out of control ....honestly?You can't even do that shh now because you can't even trust a lot of these new producers ...many today are either collabing or stealing beats and construction kits so it's not worth your reputation ...just keep it to you wanna be the best and battle the best not teaming up with the competition

And using AI as well! If AI makes the melody lol they may as well do the whole thing!

Ppl nowadays are addicted to short cuts and legs up, but also want to full credit as someone who didn't take any short cuts.

They want Quincy Jones to sit down and take notes from them, and tell them how smart they are.

It's all one big silly clown car race
