Ty Fyffe is a hit record producer from Queens, New York, with more than 30 years of records behind him. He came up in 1992 in Teddy Riley's camp, the house that built New Jack Swing, and helped make Wreckx-n-Effect's "Rump Shaker," one of the biggest party records of the '90s.
From there his beats moved through every corner of New York hip-hop. He worked alongside Erick Sermon with Redman and Keith Murray, landed Method Man's "Judgement Day," and became a go-to producer for Murder Inc. and Roc-A-Fella: Ja Rule's "It's Murda" with JAY-Z and DMX, Amil's "4 Da Fam," plus records for Foxy Brown, Cam'ron and Beanie Sigel.
In the 2000s he teamed with 50 Cent and Dr. Dre on "Straight to the Bank," became a regular on G-Unit projects, and gave Busta Rhymes and T-Pain "Hustler's Anthem '09." His credits also run through LL Cool J, Slick Rick, Nas, Fat Joe, Xzibit, Big Pun, Prodigy, Jadakiss and Twista.
Ty runs TYBU Productions and his own studio, The Music Factory, in West Hempstead, New York. In 2019 he sat on the judging panel at the Beat Battle Music Producer Challenge in London. Now he's part of the RocBattle family.
