Ways to battle

Random battle

Live now

Pick Open (any style) or a genre, choose a beat from your library, and hit Find an opponent.

  • ▸ If a producer is already waiting for the same kind of battle, you're matched instantly and the battle goes live.
  • ▸ If not, your battle waits in the pool on the Battles page, where any producer can tap Battle them.
  • ▸ Genre battles are same-genre only: your beat must be tagged with that genre.
  • ▸ No opponent in 3 days? It's removed and your credits come back.

Direct challenge

Live now

Call out a specific producer. Type their name, pick open or a genre, set the rules, and attach the beat you're bringing.

  • ▸ They're notified in the app and by email, and accept by putting up their own beat (same genre for genre battles), or decline.
  • ▸ The moment they accept, both beats are in and the battle goes live. No waiting on uploads.
  • ▸ You choose the voting period (24–72 hours), the minimum votes (3+) and the AI policy.
  • ▸ Switch it up: a beat that battled can't battle again for 30 days.
  • ▸ If they decline, your credits are refunded.

How battles are decided

Voting

  • ▸ Listen to both beats, then score your pick from 1 to 10.
  • ▸ One vote per account per battle. You can't vote in your own battle.
  • ▸ A verified email is required to vote.
  • ▸ Who you voted for is never shown publicly.

Results

  • ▸ When voting closes, the beat with the higher average score wins. Evenly scored battles are a draw.
  • ▸ No battle ends with fewer than 3 votes. If it's short, voting stays open another 24 hours.
  • ▸ Both producers are notified with the result and the vote split.

Rating & rank

  • ▸ Everyone starts at a 1,000 rating. Wins raise it, losses lower it, and beating a stronger producer counts for more.
  • ▸ Your rating places you in a division and on the Leaderboards.
Proving Grounds 0–1,099
Rookie 1,100–1,399
Pro 1,400–1,699
Elite 1,700–1,999
Legend 2,000+

Battle credits

Credits keep the arena fair: if you want to battle, you help vote. Battlers and voters are the same community.

5
credits per battle

Each producer pays to enter, whether it's a random battle or a direct challenge.

1
credit per vote

Vote on any battle to earn. Five votes = one battle.

5
credits every month

Everyone starts with 5 and resets to 5 on the 1st.

2 / 15
at once / per month

Keeps monthly rankings fair, so producers who start mid-month can still catch up.

Credits have no cash value. Unmatched or declined battles refund your credits. Up to 20 battles are live at once so every battle gets votes; extra battles wait "up next".
