Cheating Caught Again

What's up RocBattle family,

I want to be clear about something: I have no desire to ban anyone. But this keeps happening, and I have to address it.

Right now there's a battle going on between hottroundz and tmthaproducer. tmthaproducer was leading. Honestly, I thought the beat that was used ("Don't Want To Lose You") won against Hot Rod's beat. But a little bit before I was about to close that battle, I received a link with evidence that it wasn't even his beat.

This is another example of why we have to take the actions that we take, and protect the integrity of this site. If anybody could come in here and do this and get away with it, what happens next? What if we find out the person who wins the $10,000 Elite prize just copied somebody's beats from the other side of the world and came in here and frauded everybody?

So what's the standard? Where do we stop this?

The standard is simple. Battle with your own beats, and you won't get banned.

Hold on... the beat in the link doesnt have that many clicks... is it the same dude with a different name? Or he completely jacked the beat?

dudes record should be wiped clean and have to start from scratch posting his own shit if he wants to use kits thats ok but make em sound different thats just my opinion on it

@FatFingers BIG FACTS! Appreciate you! People need to be held accountable for their actions. We can’t hold everyone’s hand and make excuses for them while hoping they’ll eventually do better. At some point, people have to take personal responsibility.👍🔥💯

it’s happened too many times already, if you’ve already found 2 battles where they completely stole and copied someone else’s beats, using demo beats from construction kits, and battling them as their own , most likely there’s more, and I feel to protect you, the site from facing any type of lawsuits and protect the loyal members with integrity, they shouldn’t be able to compete at all (especially in cash battles), that’s my opinion

@uncledavebeats oh its more then a few i took the time to listen to all his beats posted and i can confirm alot of them are in fact demos from kits or stolen beats and i suspected more based on how familiar they sounded to me and i knew i heard them from somewhere i personally dont think thre is any coming back from that i really think about like damn what if i didnt catch it and he went on to win that money and him taking wins and knowing he could possibly have a shot at that money and choosing to still do what he did shows his character and what kind of person he is
