Battle System Updates for More Integrity
What's up RocBattle family,
RocBattle is growing fast, and with real money and real rankings on the line, we're putting new rules in place to protect every battle.
Someone recently sent me proof that two producers who had faced each other in a battle were friends who had made a beat together on YouTube. The producer they were battling went and found it. That's exactly what we're stopping.
1. Two in a row, then you sit one out.
If you vote for the same producer in 2 of their battles in a row, your vote button is removed on their next battle. After that, you can vote in their battles again. This doesn't apply to tournament or finale battles, where there are so many votes it won't be a factor.
When you open a battle, you'll see your status right there: your last votes in each producer's battles, and whether you can vote in this one.
2. Your Voting Report tracks more again.
Your Voting Report is back to the full version. It shows who you keep voting for, how often, and what patterns are showing up. Check yours.
3. Fresh matchups.
With so many new producers coming in, when you start a battle the system will match you with producers you haven't battled first. Nobody should be able to climb the rankings by battling the same friends over and over.
These are early steps to stop anybody from working the system. Vote for the best beat. Battle with your own beats. That's all it takes.
