Is something wrong that I missed???

yeah your mixes are clean fam, but every producer's ear is different and hear things differently, that's what makes us unique, it's probably their equipment set up, if you're mixing on high quality expensive equipment and they are listening on $20 headphones or bluetooth speaker, it might not hit the same, but honestly I say some may on purposely give you a bad rating on something just because you gave them a bad rating on one of their battles being an honest voter, if we being real, even though we supposed to be voting honestly no matter what, I just know some ppl gon like my sht and others are not, it's all preference

on this beat for me, the first 2 or 3 chords in the beginning of the synth sound was more like "jolly" or "triumphant" and not "dark" like most modern trap music is, it could be something as detailed as that but an artist like T.I. would kill this 💯 (my opinion)

I feel that!! Far as this beat chords they are like that to make it triumphant like you just won but its still trap. Trap has so many sub genres I don't know where to start 😂

The drums hit hard. I just felt like the cymbal and the brass sounded. They didn't sound spaced out; they both sounded muddy when played together on the hook part, like they were fighting for space that's what I was hearing on my end. That's just my honest opinion of what I hear on my side. But the beat is good.

@uncledavebeats I agree, even looking at the both of your scores that people are intentionally trying to give as low of a rating as possible. Both of your mixes weren't no 5s and 6s bro. They did that so whoever wins this battle would get less rating points and wouldn't move as far up the ranking.

@kaoticbeatz, maybe I could have been wrong about what I heard, but I vote based on what I think I heard. So I could have been wrong. If I made a mistake, then I stand by the mistake I made. I try to give my honest vote. The reason why I said something is becuase I want to be honest about what I think I heard so people can see I have nothing to hide at all. I really like the site, so I wanted to be upfront about my opinion. I don't vote out of personal reasons, etc. I just vote based on my own observations as objectively as I think I did. So, at the end of the day, no hard feelings; just my way of showing my true intentions on here by saying stuff upfront. So for now, I'll try to listen more closely to these battles to try to give a better vote as honestly as possible.

In my opinion, I feel anything below 7-8 is basically saying that someone's beat is trash. Now I do understand that everyone here has different skill levels and that's ok because iron sharpens iron. When I started on the old BuyBeats site I was getting washed left and right but I took them L's on the chin and was determined to get better and try again. when I started here again I was voting as I did in the old site, where I would give 10's to whoever I felt was better in my opinion but I received a warning about that so I stopped and started voting how I felt the site wanted me to. By doing that I just earned the gold star for honest voting. 🫡😁 Another thing I want to address is how my wife and friend that want to support me in my battles are being blocked. So, my wife showed me a notice she received about her votes not counting because we were in the same house together using the same network. 🤔 I was home during that time and there was 2 battles i had going. I understand trying to prevent cheating and stuff but how is it that I'm over the road and she's still getting blocked and given the same notice about being together in the house. I have a cousin out in Cali that is experiencing the same issue of being blocked because she only votes for me. Why would she vote for anyone else? My friends and family are here to support me. And they have no clue of voting technically based off the voting choices. They don't know what is off key or bad sound selection would be, Etc. Us producers here have the ears for technical voting amongst ourselves. I just feel that the outside voting rules and regulations should be revisited so we can have our people come and vote for us without any issues. With all due respect of course 🫡
