@christianwraps No prob, you are welcome. So around 2008 (Previous Rocbattle) another producer referred me to a music library. I also found a site modernbeats.com "song submit" and they have credits you pay for, it's like listing you can buy credits for and can end up as low as $3 to submit a beat to or up to $10 per beat if you buy a low amount of credits, that landed me another music library. The lame part about song submit you have so many listings you can choose from and it could end up being the same library you previously submitted music for, they don't often tell you the company name, you can also submit to contests with the credits or sometimes to a song writer and sometimes its a company that are involved with net radio station and they ask for a fee so not all listing are great. I once used Taxi.com to submit but the membership is expensive, I did end up with another music library through that however they moved on to other things when they didn't get their feet off the ground. I use to have a website selling beats before 2 graphic companies companies scammed me when movie the site name to another provider, but when I had the site an RnB/Pop singer from NYC area was in queens on stage singing to one of my beats, an indie movie producer loved that song and I ended up doing 85% of his movie score, so anything you put out there a door can open up, sometimes its timing. the hard part of the music industry is that once you have a placement you won't know how much it could get you, some tracks for a short usage could be a few pennies, others could be used often and bring in a few thousand, and it also depends on the show if its a small following or a major network station/show and once you get a placement it can be about 15 months before you see the money in your "pro" like BMI/Ascap, myself Socan as I live in Canada and is more like 18 months, you get a royalty payment quarterly. I really want to work with artists but where I live I never met another producer and labels/big TV networks are far and few and people come and go, tho one guy that bought beats around 2009 and up had kept in touch from time to time, now retired and fishes and recorded himself over a beat of mine while fishing, it hit 17 Million and was taken down some time after, sadly that beat I must have sold exc for probably $100 from my site and so none of us got to see a penny and the guy who purchased it from me ended up with only 13 views, that was a kick in the butt, but since I had no one show me the industry I learned the hard way what not to do. If I think of more or come across a music library I'll hit you up, there are also online sync license companies that exist as well.
