RocBattle 5.0 Is Out of Beta: Here's How We Promote Your Beats
First, I want to thank you. Every one of you who signed up during the beta, battled, voted, left comments and told us when something broke helped build this site. We fixed a lot of things because you spoke up.
As of November 1st, RocBattle 5.0 is officially out of beta. And now it's time for real promotion around your beats.
I want you to understand what you're really a part of. You're not just joining another beat site. Rockwilder and I built RocBattle with one focus: getting more eyes and ears on your beats. That's what the whole system is about. You don't battle just to win. You battle because every battle puts your beats in front of producers, artists and fans, every single day. Streams, battles, Rock Live, the Beat Market and Beat Auctions all work together for one thing: exposure for your music.
When you become a member, you become one of the producers Rockwilder promotes. Here's how that works, and everything that's coming your way now that we've launched.
1. Your membership
Member (free) is your starter plan. It's there so you can see how the community works and get in on some of the free opportunities. You get up to 5 beats on the site and 5 battles a month.
Exclusive ($9.99/month) and Exclusive Gold ($19.99/month) are where the real opportunities are. This is where the promotion happens.
With Exclusive, you get room to grow: up to 200 beats on the site, 20 battles a month so you can climb the rankings, your beats in Rockwilder's queue on Rock Live, Beat Auctions, and 80% of every Beat Market sale.
With Gold, you get everything in Exclusive, plus unlimited beats, 100% of every Beat Market sale, Gold-only Rock Live sessions, private invites and masterclasses, and Rockwilder's submission pool for real industry requests.

2. Get ranked
To be ranked on the monthly leaderboard, you need at least 6 battles that month. The free plan gets 5. So when you're on Exclusive or Gold, you can get ranked, make the finals and qualify for tournaments, and that's where producers get noticed.
3. Getting paid with PayPal
Your stream revenue and cash battle winnings will be paid straight to your PayPal. We're waiting on PayPal to approve RocBattle's account so you can connect your PayPal directly to the site. The moment they approve it, I'll send out a notice so you can get set up and get paid.
4. Beat Auctions
You can now auction the exclusive rights to your beats. You set a starting bid and a secret reserve that protects your price, and the highest bid wins. Exclusive members get 1 auction a month, and Gold members get unlimited.
Here's what makes this big: Rockwilder will be promoting beat auctions on his social media and highlighting the Beat Auction feature. Imagine your beat being the one he puts in front of his audience. 5. Beat Dump on Rock Live
When Rockwilder goes live, Exclusive and Gold members can drop their beats in his queue. He plays them and reacts to them live, and those moments turn into social media and promotional content for your beats. Think about what it means to have Rockwilder react to your beat in front of everyone watching.
Gold members also get Gold-only sessions, private invites to special sessions, and masterclasses with other producers.
6. Voice tags
The RocBattle voice tag is hooked up. Tag your new beats when you upload, and go back to My Beats to tag the beats you already have. Every play becomes a reminder of where your beat came from.
7. $500 to November's top producer
The #1 producer on the Rankings at the end of November gets $500 cash. The race is on right now.
8. October Top 16 Tournament
Some battles that started in October are still finishing. Once they're done, we'll have the final list of the top 16 producers from October who get invited to the tournament. Invited producers will have 24 hours to respond. We'll also notify the producers on standby, so if somebody doesn't respond, the next producer in line moves into that spot automatically.
