RocBattle Integrity Update: AI Beats, Disqualifications & What's Next

What's going on, RocBattle family.

Throughout this beta we've been testing everything: voting, streams, rankings, and the systems that keep this place honest. With real money on the line, we had to know how people might try to game RocBattle before launch. RocBattle has invested a lot of time and money into detecting AI-generated music, and as we get close to November 1st, we're putting it into practice.

WHAT WE FOUND
Some beats entered in battles were made with AI music generators and were labeled "Original: no AI was used." We now use sophisticated detection software to catch AI-generated music. Here's one of them: the beat in a RocBattle battle, then the exact same track on Suno.

WHO WAS DISQUALIFIED
For the integrity of this community, we're naming them:

- ThroneMuzik: 10 beats made with Suno, all labeled "no AI." 7 battle wins reversed.
- Dj Maxx Payne: 7 beats made with Suno labeled "no AI." 4 battle wins reversed.
- Logan F (KnocKkTurnalBeats): "HitMan" was made with Suno and labeled "no AI." Disqualified; the win goes to Tripl3C.

Every corrected battle now shows a notice explaining why, and the win went to the producer who made their own beat. Ratings, records and divisions have been recalculated.

One producer labeled his music as AI-assisted from the start. His battles stand as they are. Honesty counts.

WHY IT MATTERS
AI is a tool, and we're not against it. But a battle is producer against producer: your ear, your drums, your hours. An AI beat can't be put up against real talent. It's not real, and it's not fair.

MOVING FORWARD
- No AI battles. Period. AI-generated or AI-assisted beats can't be entered in battles.
- AI beats can still be uploaded to your profile, as long as they're labeled.
- AI beats can be sold on RocBattle. If you want to make AI beats to sell, by all means, do that.
- AI beats do not earn streaming revenue.
- Every upload is checked. If our system detects AI, it can't battle and it can't earn streams.

We're building RocBattle so producers can win and get paid for what their own skills and talent can do. That's the whole point.

i never said they need anything just a suggestion.. TBH.. im never using that.. one thing i must correct you on.. Ai takes ideas from others and alters it based off prompts.. Records that i sample from have album covers and real people who produced them... big difference to me.. but your entitled to your thoughts.. apparently rocbattle sees the point as well..

This is still ai generated stems. You can clearly hear "That suno sound" in the beat. It's ok bro. Alot of people use AI for music. Just dont use it for battles. Dont matter if it's mixing or whatever. It defeats the purpose of it being a battle. Imagine two fighters get in the ring and one fighter pulls out a fully auto AK. Yeah that's what your doing when you battle AI generated beats. Just be honest about it and not go around the world trying to justify why you used it.

The AI assistant on Ozone gives you an excellent starting point. You can take it and refine it however you wish at that point. That said, you can do whatever you want to do... When it comes to stuff like mixing and mastering some people aren't as good as others. So I feel at the end of the day you use it as a tool just like you. Would anything else

First of all, let’s talk about that little roadside flea market you tried to set up in post #51.
You’re on here trying to hustle producers into buying ISRC codes through “BILL BIGGZ GLOBAL”? Any standard distributor like DistroKid or TuneCore hands them out for literally zero dollars, or you pay the national ISRC agency a one-time ninety-five dollar fee and you get 100,000 codes for the rest of your life. Trying to flip individual metadata strings to bedroom beatmakers who don’t know any better isn't an enterprise, man, it’s predatory car-lot hustle.
And don’t run behind “album covers and real people” now that you got checked on your paperwork. You romanticize crate digging like you’re cutting royalty checks to the estates of 1970s session players. You chop uncleared records and pray nobody with a lawyer hears it. Meanwhile, taking raw, uncopyrightable audio, chopping it, re-pitching it, running it through real DSP, and building a completely original composition creates legally recognized human authorship with zero clearance liabilities. That’s actual music production and basic intellectual property law.
Notice the speed of your pivot. In post #51 you were beating your chest like a cartel boss telling everyone what they “need” to do, and the second I laid out the legal reality, suddenly in #61 it’s: “i never said they need anything just a suggestion.. TBH.. im never using that.”
You folded like a cheap lawn chair. You spent two posts begging FatFingers to audit your hard drive and give you a pat on the head for owning an MPC One, and now you’re backpedaling into sentimental nonsense because you realized your little clearance-middleman racket doesn't work on people who actually know how audio and the business operate. Keep trying to milk twenty bucks out of rookies for free metadata, but don’t fix your mouth to lecture me on the craft.

That explanation is the most backwards logic on this entire board.
You think AI is sitting there with scissors cutting up WAV files from other artists? It’s a neural network calculating frequency probabilities out of Gaussian white noise based on multidimensional mathematical weights. It generates a completely new signal from zero.
Meanwhile, what do you do on that MPC One? You drop a needle on a record, capture the literal acoustic airwaves played by real session musicians who spent thirty years mastering an instrument, slice their performance across 16 pads, and call it your beat without cutting their estate a dime.
You literally steal actual audio from real human beings and claim it’s "nobler" because their picture is on the cardboard sleeve. A generative model creates an original waveform out of math, but you call it theft because you can't wrap your head around anything that doesn't come on a 12-inch piece of plastic. Stop trying to lecture people on originality when your entire production catalog is built on other people's master recordings.

1. Instrumental first made in 2021 on FL Studio and later exported and tracked out. At first I named this beat "Walk By Faith" but I cannot find the FL Studio session, so that's why all I had was the final draft in Pro Tools.

2. However, I still wanted to walk you through how the beat started. Tried to squeeze my beginning process into 60 secs the best that I could. I started over to let you see the beginning process.

3. I used to use Splice alot, so it all started from a loop inside of there, which you will see.
